Since 1938, Du-Par's Restaurant and Bakery has sold deli dishes to the masses of Angelenos who visited the Farmer's Market. Over the decades, Du-Par's only expanded to a couple of other locations, a couple around L.A. and one outlet in San Diego. The Sun Coast Casino has replaced their Cafe Siena with Du-Pars Restaurant. We had a single hamburger without cheese for $13. (cheese is $1.50 extra) and a patty melt for $12.50. The food was average but not exceptional. I don't see this restaurant succeeding. The entire menu is priced too high for the clientele and the choices have narrowed considerably. Especially missed will be the daily specials and the Chinese menu. Sun Coast made a bad call and I suspect will lose some loyal customers. We will not be back to Du-Pars.
I grew up on LA and went Dupars many times. We just tried the new at the Sun Coast. It was way over priced. Service was slow to say the leasy. and my second glass of ice tea had no ice. Breakfast for 3 was almost $60 without a tip. Its just a very basic menu. We won't be back. Disappointed to say the least.
Come for the breakfast.. stay for the excellent service... stay longer for the pie.
There is a short hostess here who has always been snotty and disrespectful since 2012. She pulled that crap on us again tonight. Empty tables all over , but for US there is a ALWAYS a wait or we can have our entire party eat at the counter, but the people before and after us always get tables. That is why we hardly ever eat here anymore. Off to another place...

Fair prices, real food, nice portions. Best shrimp cocktail I have EVER ate, home made pies, banana cream pie to die for good. We ate here 8 times on our last trip and every meal was great. Love this place, now our favorite Las Vegas eats. See you soon.
A Bloody Mary, French Toast, Hash Brown, Bacon & Maple Syrup - I found it to be the tastiest breakfast in Las Vegas!
