The food was just okay. Nothing special. I had French Toast and they were a little on the rubbery side and had WAY too much egg batter. I was surprised that no sides were included. You want French toast, that's all you get. You want bacon, you order it separately. Who does that?
When we lived in California, we used to go to the original restaurant, this one is just ok in my opinion, my eggs and hash brown were good, but the gravy on the chicken fried chicken lacked seasoning, though the chicken was cooked very well. My wife said the pancakes were great!
Wonderful atmosphere, great service, and excellent food!
Can't beat the 3.99 shrimp cocktail. Also tried chocolate cream pie, was very good. Not the best I've had but almost as good. My husband loved the burger.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant out but was disappointed. The fried zucchini was pretty good when dipped in tons of ranch but the batter had no flavor. I ordered the fried chicken and it along with the gravy we're basically flavorless it was like they hadn't heard it salt. The chicken was tough, chewy and veiny so I was only able to take 2 bites.
