First time here, and it was hard to find a clinic that offers Otis & Piper frames covered by our insurance. I called the same day and was able to get an open appointment with Balfour & Shapiro Optometry for my son with Dr. Shapiro. That alone was a win. The clinic is located on Broadway between 5th and 6th Street in DTLA. I dropped my son off to find parking, and by the time I walked in, he was already picking out frames. Best eye doctor, in LA. I been going to him since I was a little girl I’m 34yrs old now. He’s very patient and passionate about his job and clients. Receptionist is very nice and helpful. Not long wait time they get you in and out and explain everything about your appointment to you.
