I come every 3 months to have my pessary cleaned and be checked out.
I originally really enjoyed Dr. Wood and thought they were a great fit until after they surgically removed my right ovary (laparoscopic oophorectomy) stating that it was the best option. After they removed the ovary they found that cyst was in fact benign, but this is not my biggest issue with this doctor and their nursing staff. She is so amazing!!! Very calming and comforting! Definitely would recommend Dr. Wood!!!
not all about Dr. Wood, it is about the other doctors in her office as well. My daughter has been going to them throughout her first pregnancy. They have made her feel stupid for some of her questions, and made her feel as if she has been an inconvenience to them. She is 36 weeks pregnant and considering changing hospitals, as this one has been unbelieveably inconsiderate to her feelings and concerns.
I had two miscarriages while seeing Dr. Wood. She had no interest and was the most uncaring person I've met. Made me feel like me and my child didn't matter. Told me after two miscarriages they usually do testing to see if they can find out why, she didn't offer and when I showed interest in finding out why she changed the subject to finding out how I wanted to pass my baby. Do not recommend. Office staff was nice but that's about it.
