My RX ran out and I lost my new prescription before I could get it filled. Surprise, I am seeing him for ADD. I left messages with Dr. Ahmad and he did not return my phone calls or messages for four days.. I have been several days without my Rx and now it is Friday night before Hurricane Irene. It looks like it will be Tuesday or Wednesday before I can get a new script and I am beginning to feel the withdrawal. This is by far the most horrible Dr. I have ever seen. He does in fact change his diagnosis each visit, he even forgot my name! He treats patients like an assembly line and feeds them all generic garbage. He is far more concerned with playing with his blackberry during sessions than the patient. I had to repeat myself 10 times because he kept texting. Do not waste your time! This doctor is awful!! His knowledge of learning disabilities, ADHD and personality disorders is zero. please do not waste your time here! the doctor plays with his blackberry during sessions and is way more concerned with his personal life than what you or I have to say. he comes up with a new diagnosis every session. i asked him to write me a letter for school and he almost got me thrown out instead. he is not interested in his patients. he makes a rash diagnosis and is very unsure of himself. he said i showed bipolar traits but persisted to treat me with an anti-depressant medication. he only heard 10 minutes of my history... read more
i absolutely love dr. ahmad! he is wonderful. i felt this way after the first time i spoke to him. he is not only brilliant but down to earth and caring. he genuinely cares about his patients! he is very real, he doesn't feed his patients any generic stuff. this is truly the most competent, insightful doctor i have ever seen! there is no better!
He is a most helpful and polite young man, who seems to be very caring and insightful.
