Dr. Fan was recommended to me by a friend who is a nurse at a hospital in Plano. I had a great visit with him yesterday. He is very knowledgeable and honest.
i do not like him since he does not care about his patient, what he cares is Money! Very bad!
When I first walked in to see Doctor Fan because chronic pain within my liver,He was extremely nice and willing to advise me on my condition; he took my pain seriously,He prescribed me medication that worked extremely well to rid me of my liver problem. The entire time I spent with Doctor Fan was supportive and trying to help in the best way that he could. He is the best doctor not only his kindness and willingness to help but also his medical knowledge and his ability to see the cause of my pain,
Dr. Fan got is in very quick and gave us more answers and treatment info than my daughter got in previous 5 years from her old Gastro doctor who has been treating her gastroparesis. He was also very helpful in giving us coupons and making sure the meds were the best price available including how to order a medicine from Canada she had previously been paying hundreds of dollars for. His answers were short and to the point but he addressed all our questions and gave us the time needed.
We were prescribed a medicine which needed a prior authorization to indicate medical necessity. First, the staff at his office lied several times and said they had called (leading to a two month delay). Later, they admitted that they hadn't called and don't intend to because they didn't think the insurance would approve it. We advised them that our pharmacist had insisted that our insurance covers the medicine - they just need to call. Response? Please find a different doctor, we can't help you.
Dr. Fan saw me while he was at UT Southwestern in Dallas. I found him to be very professional and not afraid to be direct. He ordered the required tests, which were conducted by very courteous and professional staff members, and gave me the results in language that I could understand. He answered any questions I had in a polite and patient manner. He has moved to Richardson but, still in Dallas, I will go there to see him.
Dr. Fan is an excellent physician. He's very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
Would definitely recommend this physician to others. Wait time was short.
Dr. Fan is very knowledgeable and down to earth. He is one of a few doctors I trust.
