The front desk and the billing are totally mess up
Dr. Fan went insane on me after I interrupted his rambling on a medication that is totally unrelated to the routine procedure he is to schedule me for. After 20 seconds reviewing my record, he started to talk about a medication I have been taking under another doctor. I went along with his rambling until he ratcheted up his rhetoric including death scenarios that there is absolutely no medical reference to be found on this medication. Dr Fan. has been my doctor for the last 8 years. He and his staff have been out standing I had colon cancer 8 years ago he makes sure it has not come back; he does colonoscopy every three years that gives me piece of mind. Thank you Dr Fan and staff. See you in October.
I'm very disappointed by the careless and unprofessional attitude of Dr. Fan. I have chronical stomach pain for a long time, and he just told there's no way to deal with it, and he didn't provide any userful advices!
Actual rating is 0 stars. Doctor came into room to see my mother. Claimed that he didn't receive lab report, although primary care doctor says they have verification that it was faxed to his office. I had to physically go get the report from the primary care office. After returning, I explained that I didn't think the experience thus far was organized but didn't hold him responsible, just that I had driven an hour to see him, only to have to get reports that should've been at his office already or communicated to patient pri... read more
He refused to do a colonoscopy and endoscopy at the same time because he makes more money if he does them separately. Also he made me come in for a 2nd unnecessary consultation so he could charge me another co-pay and bill my insurance.
I would give no stars if that were an option. I went in for an appointment because I had been feeling nauseous for the first week. Without asking me about my lifestyle habits (e.g. fitness, nutrition, basically any important background information that would be pertinent to diagnosis), Dr. Fan goes to tell me that I "should be fine and I'm too young for something serious to happen." He also tells me I should move out of my parents' house, providing wonderfully ignorant and unsolicited advice.
Dr. Fan is very knowledgeable and experienced. He also has a good insight in my medical issue. His staff is also friendly and helpful.
I honestly would rather die than ever step foot in this office again. I saw him briefly when I was hospitalized at Medical City Plano. He told me to follow up in a week and we would check my electrolytes and plan an endoscope. When I followed up in a week, he didn't remember me and scolded me for taking the wrong medications (which were prescribed when I left the hospital!). He was so rude and wouldn't listen to anything I was trying to say to remind him of his comments at the hospital.
