Dr. Chung is truly AWESOME! I had ACDF C5-C7 cervical spine surgery on October 5, 2018. All the surgical, hospital, and office staff were an encouraging helpful team for my successful surgery. Dr. Chung explained all pertinent information in understandable terms and answered every question. He is courteous and demonstrated his sincere desire to restore my damaged spine. Dr. Chung is a gifted surgeon and saved me from huge problems. I am truly grateful!
Dr. Chung and the staff at DISC are a rare find. Out of 5 surgeons I interviewed, they were more thorough than all others - in both taking the time to fully diagnose and explain my condition (including a full spine x-ray) and recommending the procedure that would give the best long term results (a hybrid 2-level CDR + 1-level ACDF vs. a 3-level ACDF). His billing staff spent hours and hours working with my insurance to approve this procedure. Dr. Chung truly cares about his patients.
Always explains findings and recommendations thoroughly. Answers all questions in a way that can be readily understood. No technobabble.

Excellent in describing medical issues. Spent as much time as needed. I'm scheduling surgery in near future and will do follow up. Staff has been exceptional as well.
Dr. Chung is one of the best doctors I have seen. He is knowledgeable and cares about his patients.
Dr. Chung is a friendly warm person and an excellent surgeon. He performed spinal fusion on my back on July 7, 2015 and since then my pain has been eliminated and my three annual followups in 2gr016, 2017, and 2018 have all been great. You couldn't ask for a better surgeon.

I was extremely impressed with Dr Chung and HIGHLY recommend him for all of your needs. Immediately you know that you are not a number with him. He has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered. He thoroughly explains everything that he sees and lists all the options. He does not jump right to scheduling an OR at all. He genuinely wants what is best for his patients. I am definitely telling all of my friends about the wonderful experience. Very worth the drive and Denver traffic!!!!

Please don't overlook Dr. Chung. Although he's not a neurosurgeon, he is a specialist in his field. He did my cervical spine fusion in 2014 and I'm so glad I used him!

Dr, Chung is thorough and his demeanor make you feel at ease. He has performed two spinal surgeries for me and both were successful and I knew what to expect pre and post surgery. In addition, he is always looking for possible ways to avoid surgery.
