Medical staff in any doctor's office are hit or miss, that has nothing do to with the doctor. I appreciated Dr. Petraiuolo's direct approach. Day of the procedure, he communicated what would happen and talked with me through the whole time (which I appreciated). Doctors aren't here to deliver customer service, they're here to perform a specialty. So far, I'm satisfied with results.
Dr. Petraiuolo has performed 2 minor and 2 major surgeries on me during the last decade. I have a host of autoimmune issues, which complicates my treatment. However, he has proven to be an excellent surgeon, who is professional (with an excellent bedside manner); punctual in office and for surgeries; patient while thoroughly explaining your procedure and highly respected at the hospital. He's the best surgeon I have ever met.
Very impressed with the ability to get an appointment, thorough treatment and excellent follow up, even called on a Sunday to see how I was feeling. Highly recommend.
Great experience from consultation to surgery
We felt that Dr. Petraiuolo and his assistant were rude and inconsiderate of our questions or feelings. Very pushy, to the point that he took his wallet out of his pocket and shook it in her face saying if he was about that, he'd put her in the OR right away. We went in as my mom needs a biopsy on her breast. I have never felt so disrespected as I did that day. As her POA and daughter, I will NEVER let that man do surgery of any kind on her or recommend him.
Good doctor/patient relationship. Good knowledge we could understand.
