I had colon cancer a year ago September. Dr Petraiuolo, removed 16 inches of my colon. He was knowledgeable and explained in full detail the complicated procedure I was about to undergo. He insisted he was removing my tumor immediately. He resisted blood transfusions because of their complications. I had full confidence that he was the right surgeon for me. He operated on our daughter and removed the wrong (side) gland In her neck and blamed her that she said yes, when he pointed to the side while she was drugged. Then he operated on my father for gallbladder And nicked his cystic duct, and he blamed my father for not being able to tolerate the surgery. He would become septic and almost died...he was in his late 80’s. We took my father to the Cleveland Clinic and they were able to fix it...stay away from this surgeon!

Needed hernia repair. Explained procedure fully. Took great care of me and after surgery checked on me twice. I would highly recommend this highly skilled surgeon who has great bedside manner.

If there were a 6th star or more..I would have clicked it! I had reservations due to other reviews I had seen of Dr. Petraiuolo. However, I did an all out inquiry of the community through Facebook. I received several comments that countered the negative ones I had read. I decided to make an appointment and find out for myself. He is fantastic!! Extremely knowledgeable, forthcoming, appropriate bedside manner, and caring.

I Was very sick with pancreatitis and gallbladder stones. Not only did Dr.. Petraiuolo fit me into his surgery schedule due to my condition, he also cared about the human element of me needing to get that surgery in order to get better to attend my son's college graduation. I am forever indebted to him for his excellent surgical skills and caring about my home situation.. I appreciate his time to explain and even draw pictures of what is going on so that all was understood.

the office staff and the doctor was great. I went to the doctor as recommended by me regular doctor for a bilateral mastectomy. the procedure was needed so I went ahead and had it done. several time before the operation the Doctor did tell me this was not cosmetic which I understood however I didn't think that statement gave him license to pay absolutely pay no attention to the human form and totally mutilate my chest. if you care what its going to look afterward go elsewhere

D. Petraiuolo was recommended for the removal of a lump in my breast. The surgery was performed and after my 6 month mammogram follow up, THE MASS WAS STILL THERE! He never removed the mass, just healthy breast tissue. I had to go through all of fear and anguish again. Bedside manner was not the best either.
