Dr. Costigan is an exceptional doctor in his field. Congress Medical never closed throughout Covid and they ensured we were safe. The surgery center is immaculate as well as the offices and I am grateful to everyone at Congress Medical who worked through the pandemic to keep us pain free and safe.

Myself and other family members have been a patient of Dr. Costigan for many years. I have had 5 surgeries with him and all successful. He is an exceptional surgeon; extremely bright and knowledgeable in his field. He continues to advance his education in new treatments and surgical procedures. Sometimes you have to wait, but I would rather spend a little time waiting knowing that I am getting one of the best surgeons one can find. He is also well known and respected by his peers.

Dr Costigan did my micro discectomy in 2009. 10yrs later, I’m back to see him for a new injury. I find him to be warm, kind, attentive and a good surgeon!

The doctor did not take sufficient time to explain the diagnosis or respond to questions. Calling back the second day to get further instructions and clarification, my call was returned by an assistant who told me to "just have the procedure." The response was dismissive and non responsive.

I had a lumbar surgery in Feb. 2016 & an unrelated cervical surgery in March 2017. I have had excellent results from both surgeries. I have been able to resume all my activities including daily exercising and full time work. There are days I still experience symptoms, but they are manageable.. Dr. Costigan is a gifted surgeon and if you do your part of the recovery you will have a good outcome.

If I could give negative stars I would. The first two appointments I had were 1.5 hour waits. The first time I saw Dr. Costigan, he recommended I have one cortisone shot in one area and if that didn't work then surgery, spinal fusion. I went and got three other opinions and all said I needed to try the cortisone shot in three places and at least three times before I really talk about surgery and there would be two options for surgery. So in my opinion Costigan is a little knife happy. He refil

After waiting an hour and 40 minutes finally left after I heard him go into yet another room. Anyone who over schedules to this extent is overly focused on the money and not the patient.
