Awful experience' procedure done problem still there, never took care of! Medical bill paid in full, but issue never resolved. Unprofessional with the singing and small talk that had nothing to do with my issue. Yes he is very personable, but not enough time spent focusing on my issue. i was so scared at first but after a couple visits i felt like i new him for years i should have came along time ago hes the best surgeon for breast n i still have feelin in the and he made them the perfect size
Dr. Thompson did my breast reduction....or was supposed to. After the surgery and recovery I found I was the same size as before the surgery. When I brought it to the attention of Dr. Thompson, he wouldn't listen. He insisted I was reduced despite the fact I was wearing the same bra size as before. He blamed my bras, he blamed me, he blamed everyone and everything EXCEPT himself and refused to listen to my concerns. I consulted with this Dr. 17 years ago about breast reconstruction but decided to wait and make sure my cancer didn't come back. I also waited cuz I had a baby 1 year after my mastectomy. I recently, 17 years after my mastectomy, had a TRAM reconstruction by Dr. Thompson. I am very pleased and even amaized at how well my TRAM reconstruction turned out. Dr. Thompson saved my life!! He did an extremely complicated bilateral bust reduction, and I had wonderful results! The doctor was professional, but yet had enough humor to make me feel comfortable. His post-op care was excellent, and I never had any problems with infection-unlike my experiences with other surgeons. I am going to return to Dr. Thompson, and no other surgeon if I ever need one again. Thank God for good surgeons like Dr. Thompson-he is one thing that is RIGHT with our health care system!!
Dr. Thompson does awesome work. Breast reduction and reconstruction in 1998, with absolutely full sensitivity in both nipples post surgically. My breasts look so good that when I had a mammography last year, they took the name of my surgeon for a book they keep to refer people who need surgery. I am amazed at some of the other comments. I found Dr. Thompson to be very professional. He took alot of time with me, explaining all the ways used for reconstruction. He even has all his patients come for another visit before surgery and doesn't charge for this visit just so all questions are answered. Incredibly caring!!!!! Very happy with my results!
I had breast reconstruction. Dr. Thompson did an awesome job. I'm very happy and I thought he was very kind and caring. Anwered all my questions and took lots of time with me.
I agree with what one of the other people said. This doctor was INCREDIBLY arrogant and rude. I came in for a consultation and I had a list of questions. He picked up my list and looked at the questions. One of the questions was "Which techniques to do you use for breast reductions?". In which he replied, "What do you care are you a plastic surgeon?! I could not believe it. I was so shocked that I could not even talk. Needless to say I went to another doctor.
