I went in to see him for issues with my face that I thought perhaps could be auto immune related. I was amazed at how thorough he was. He ordered lots of bloodwork, including an auto immune panel. Everything came back very high. He was more thorough than the local rheumatologist. He treated my face with laser and I can’t even believe the difference now. Prescribed too many different drugs. Has an abrupt manner. Sits with his back to patient. Does not listen. Saw Dr. Colantoni for skin condition. Changed his diagnosis several times. Pushed ahead with new drug upon subsequent visit even though condition was much improved. This new drug induced serious respiratory issues. Am seeking new provider.
Yes he is short and brut, not the end of the world. But ultimately he was uninterested to hear any background information about my condition. Barely did examination and asked very few questions before giving his opinion. He did not seem concerned about resolving the issue. Would not recommend.
VERY POOR, HE CARES ABOUT MONELY AND INSURANCE NOT HIS PATIENTS I USE TO HAVE RESPECT FOR HIM BUT NOW HE IS HOLDING MY RECORDS AND PREVENTING FURTHER CARES WITH MY PRIMARY DOC.
Dr Colantoni is very very knowledgeable. One of the few that are board certified. The ratings on here typically apply to his bedside manner. Yes, he can be a bit abrasive and short with his patients, but he knows what he is doing.
I have been coming here since Dr. Weimer retired. Dr. Colantoni is direct but very knowledgeable. I choose him as my dermatologist for his competence. I am confident with his expertise and he has been the doctor to actually get my rosacea under control.
The 2 moles I was worried about are being removed. Short wait time and he answered all my questions.
