This was my first encounter with Dr. Houck, having come from a hospital/clinic setting where I had been seen since being diagnosed six years ago. I have been a patient of Dr. Houck for 5.5 years. He can come across as a bull in a china shop; however, deep down inside, he is a very caring, compassionate doctor. He will fight for his patients best interests. Dr. Houck is a good listener. My husband and I trust his adboce and decisions, as he hasn't misled us yet.

The BEST doctor and staff!!! It's scary enough to have a blood disease (or cancer), so the treatment you receive - from the front desk, the lab and Dr. Houck - makes you feel special. The staff is efficient, yet kind and caring at the same time. Dr. Houck puts you at ease instantly, knows his specialty, and spends as much time as you need with him. He even missed his lunch time to see me!! Put yourself in his hands and heal.
