The BEST doctor and staff!!! It's scary enough to have a blood disease (or cancer), so the treatment you receive - from the front desk, the lab and Dr. Houck - makes you feel special. The staff is efficient, yet kind and caring at the same time. Dr. Houck puts you at ease instantly, knows his specialty, and spends as much time as you need with him. He even missed his lunch time to see me!! Put yourself in his hands and heal.

Dr. Houck can come across as a bull in a china shop. He's not. Deep down inside, Dr. Houck is a very caring, compassionate oncologist, who strives to give his patients the best quality of life possible. He also takes the time to listen, willing to answer questions and concerns, keeps up with the latest research, etc.

I met Dr. Houck in the ER with a hemotological condition. He was kind, knowledgeable, and, as the ER doctor said "the best blood guy in the area!" Indeed, everyone in that practice is top-notch. My condition is well-maintained, and I know I am in good hands!

Timely and efficient
I met Dr. Houck a year ago when I moved to this area from Savannah. He is a wonderful man. Also a terrific Doctor. I can't say enough good things about him. He makes sure you are the main thing in your care. Dr. Houck will listen to you and answer any and all questions you have about your care. If you need Cancer care, Dr. Houck and his team are who you want on your in your battle with the big "C"!!
