Dr. Xue is a great doctor, patient and Knowledgeable. He cured my feet skin problem that had bothered me a long time.
I had high hope heading to this Doctor's office and disappointed after several visits and tests. He gave me the prescription for the shingle and denied doing so when I confronted him after finding out thru the pharmacy. He couldn't diagnose the symptom and gave me no helpful advises except the advise to see a Johns Hopkins Doctor. No wonder medicare is so expensive now a days as MD Doctors like Dr. Xue keeps your insurance companies paying for the services shouldn't be made in the first place. I have found Dr. Xue has been very friendly, thorough as well as tremendously knowledgeable. His office setting and staff are very nice as well.
I recently needed a referral to have a mole removed and my physician said he could set up an appointment with Dr. Xue. It took me a minute to remember I had visited him about 6 years previously and he was inattentive and brusk. I could handle that except after he had me lean back in the chair ( I was having him check a discoloration on the tip of my nose) He zapped me with an electrode to cauterize a vessel with out wrning me. without deadening the spot, I jerked my head and he had opened a large cut on my nose. He seemed to care during first visit however he told me if this treatment then he would try another one. When I had my follow up he said he would not prescribe me the other medication and denied having ever told me different. So if you have no problem with liars then by all means make an appt. But I prefer doctors who tell the truth.
Dr. Xue is the second derm I had seen for my cystic acne. He was the first one to really understand what my problem was. He didn't treat me like a cookie cutter acne case. Then when it came to prescribing topical and oral treatments, he listened to my concerns about cost and effectiveness rather than just pedaling brand names like my previous doctor. Now my skin is clearing up with less effect on my wallet. I love him!
Dr. Xue was rude and inpatient with me being a new patient. He didn't seem to care a out my issue and pretty much rushed me out of his office without properly explaining treatment options. There are other options and I will never go back to this practice.
I have been a patient of Dr. Xue's for approximately 10 years - I first went to him while he was practicing in Lewes DE. During this time, Dr. Xue performed several Mohs surgery procedures. Some were routine, while one in particular was rather serious and complicated. Dr. Xue has the very best "bed side manner." Dr. Xue has cared for 4 out of 5 of our family members and I have recommended him to many of our friends. He and his staff are professional, courteous, and always find time to assist my family in our dermatology needs. Dr. Xue listens to our concerns and, with his MD and PhD (which I find comforting), provides us with accurate and complete medical information.
