Doctor trautman was terrible with my 8 year old son. My son needed a extra tooth pulled so the dentist had this guy come in to do anthesia. When he put the mask on my son my son started yelling stop stop, panicking, and trying to get him to stop. Dr Trauntman instead of stopping held my son down until he was under. Dr. Trautman was terrible with my son and I would never let him near my kids again. My 5 year old son was having some cavities taken care of and the dentist recommended an anesthesiologist. We prepared for the appointment by having lots of conversations about how this visit would go- with a mask for his face, taking a nap at the office, etc. He was looking forward to the visit and completely calm and positive when we went in. Dr Trautman did our sons anesthesia for a dental appointment and was awesome. He invented a story about dinosaurs after discovering my son loved them and told me he would need to roar like a T. rex when the mask was on. He was super compassionate, I was so impressed. His nurse Sue was also great. She was very sweet, reassuring and knowledgable!
