I had carpal tunnel surgery last Wednesday and the day after I was not in any pain at all and was able to use my hand for basic daily uses, my incision is TINY, only 4 stitches. I would highly recommend Dr Ruggiero to anyone needing surgery
Friends and co workers are always asking me how my leg feels, the one that was run over by the front wheel of a car. I tell them that it feels like nothing ever happened to it. From the time I was prepped for surgery (that's when Dr. Ruggiero told me I had a classic "tib fib" except worse, WONDERFUL) through surgery and aftercare was "First Rate". And his staff, especially Sherri, made a difficult time so much easier. I see it says "Hand Surgery" on his bio, but he did wonders on my leg.
I had a great experience with Dr. Ruggiero. Came to his office because I displaced my wrist and broke it in 3 places. Needless to say my hand was in a very deformed state. Upon meeting my doctor, he patiently explained my options and gave his recommendation (surgery). Surgery scheduled the following week and went very well (1/13/17). As of today (3/15/17) I have full range of motion back and very little pain. The guy is nothing short of a miracle worker.
The staff is friendly makes you comfortable. Dr ruggiero has a great bedside manner ! He's competent and knowledgeable. Takes the time to explain what the problem is and provides the solution.
He was very arrogant, not friendly, dismissive and he did not address our questions. Very disappointed as he was given such glowing reviews. Furniture in office is stained and dirty. However, the support staff is very kind.
Been there twice 1. For a splinter in my hand that 2 other ER doctors could not get out. Surgery was the next step. Dr Ruggiero was able to remove it. 2. For a follow up for emergency room stich. He as well as staff, very professional and personable.
