I always think that surgeons want to surg. This doctor efficiently diagnosed my issue and with kindness and humor sent me on my way! Refreshing!
The guy knows his stuff.. 10/10 across the board. ??
Unbelievable!!! Not only did he totally misdiagnose my condition but after the surgery he wrote a false post operation report stating it was exploratory surgery .....
Took my child to him for a fracture in 2018. He was dismissive and not thorough. Thankfully, I was able to find her a great orthopedist in the city. I’d rather travel to the city then take her back to this office.
After seeing PAs. for four months I was able to see Dr Ruggiero. I had a reaction to the anti inflammatory he prescribed for my wrist and couldn’t use my hands…BP spiked etc. and had excruciating pain. I had two appointments with him and on the last appointment he recommended I see a rheumatologist…then proceeds to say…Good luck with that. Ok now what doctor feels the need to be sarcastic? I wasted four months coming to his practice when I could have seen a doctor who could have actually helped me. As he exited the exam room... read more

Dr Ruggiero was the best. His high energy positive attitude is contagious. Took care of my trigger finger episodes (twice), and now I have a 3rd. Unfortunately I’m in Phoenix now and have to find another surgeon! I doubt I’ll find another doc that can make me laugh throughout the procedure like Dr Ruggiero! Wish I was back home!
