Dr. Vela came highly recommended by another surgeon but unfortunately the office is very poorly managed. For starters, all the employees start the calls in Spanish so if you only speak English prepare to be passed around in hopes of finding someone that will speak to you. Even though I speak Spanish, I was met with attitude when I insisted on speaking English. I had one of the worst experiences of my life with this doctor. From start to finish, everything was disappointing and unprofessional. The doctor never met my expectations, and I rarely saw him during the whole process. After the surgery, I was left with pain in one breast and developed horrible rashes.
