She implanted a bladder mesh that was corroded. When it needed to be removed she wanted me to keep it in and give it more time to work. Even when I went to have it removed, the day of surgery she was still saying she would go in and see if it needed to be removed. I experienced several issues with doctor and office. Just a few to mention… 1. Came in to see doctor. Doctor doesn’t read chart nor has no idea why you are there. After a long wait the Dr finally comes In and within a minute takes a personal call in my room for 5 minutes and then told me she didn’t have time to read my test results and sent me on my way. And yes, I had to pay for an office visit. (No emergenc) 2. Tried calling the office for 5 hours on a normal weekday only to receive a message that they were closed. Drove b... read more
Follow up on last post. The Dr. and I had a conversation on my dislikes and worked out our problems. As I said before I like Dr. Nwaubani and I’m glad we worked this out. She was very compassionate and understanding of my feelings and I’m glad we discussed them. I went ahead with the procedure and I’m recovering nicely.
The Dr. is very personal and I felt comfortable with her. The staff is terrible at returning calls. I called 3 times one day to tell them how I felt and finally had to call the emergency 911 to get help. I had a temp of 101.1 and a rash that was getting worse. I was allergic to the antibiotics that was prescribed and temp after a procedure that was performed. They also have $$$$ for another procedure I was going to have and they will not return my money. Amazing atmosphere.
Long waits to enter examination/treatments. Office manager shows poor manners in deaaling with patient. Doctor prescribed unneeded medication to pharmacy even before we could tell her that was not supposed to be the right one for the treatment., A month ago, the Billing office sent us an invoice with two alleged procedures. Went to office, nobody there willing or able to explain why the charges to the patient when those treatments had already been paid by insurance. Communication skills with the office staff are almost non-existent. I needed surgery and it took several calls from me, THE PATIENT, to get this set up...11 months in fact. They “pass the buck” and say they never received my prior phone calls or say my message was not received. I now put all questions in writing and fax them into the office where I have written proof that they received it. J. Young, The Villages 2/12/20
She did testing that had already been done by my previous gynecologist and against my wishes....also heard her prescribing the same tests/procedures to every woman that came in ...made me feel like it all was cookie cutter and not taylored to the specific woman's needs
