Superb job, was walking without a walker in 2 weeks after complete knee replacement. Regular professional follow-ups, congenial attitude
MINIMAL PAIN AFTER SURGERY, DEVISE INSERTED APPARENTLY WITHOUT PROBLEM, NO 'CLICKING' OR OTHER PROBLEMS POST OP. WOULD SUGGEST TRAINING WITH TRAINER (AS I DID UP) UNTIL DAY BEFORE SURGERY AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER WITH SOMEONE FAMILIAR WITH TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT IN ORDER TO ACCELERATE HEALING PROCESS. VERY HAPPY WITH STAFF AND CARE BY SURGEON. I AM A PHYSICIAN AND HAVE WORKED WITH DR. BHAGIA BEFORE ROBOTIC AIDS WERE AVAILABLE AND HE IS GREAT!!!
Dr Bhagia has performed two highly successful hip replacements and a total knee replacement for me. I’m 79 years old and feel like I have the hips and knee of my youth. Not only is he highly skilled, but is a kind and thoughtful person. He is highly regarded by my other doctors as well. I recommend him without reservation.
To his credit, Dr. Bhagia seems competent but his office is absolutely horrible. So bad, we ended up going to another Doctor because they wouldn't call us back, gave us virtually no information on our scheduled surgery, they were supposed to get back to us in 10 days... still after a month no call back. When we finally got thru, they were pretty dismissive. Personally, if they worked for me, they wouldn't be working for me very long. I suggest going elsewhere.
Standard of care not being met
I had to wait 6 hours on Monday for a call back from the office regarding post surgery care only 3 days after my surgery, I’ve currently been waiting 3 hours for a call back today regarding pain management. This isn’t a joke, this is my health. If you’re so busy do fewer surgeries or hire more staff. It’s unacceptable.
I brought my mother in as a new patient the Wednesday before Christmas. They requested her insurance cards and license but never returned them. We called numerous times over the next three weeks and asked them to be mailed. FinalIy, I called and asked for the office manager to call me as she wasn't in. To this day (Jan . 20th) we have never received a call or the license and insurance cards. Even though we were told two different dates that they were mailed. Dr Bhagia is clear with his diagnosis and options for treatment. I have seen him for nearly 10 years. I have knee caps with bone spurs and little cartilage. I have chosen to strengthen my muscles and eat a healthy diet (little to no sugar or processed food). I now have no pain as I did when I started with Dr Bhagia. He will do knee replacement surgery should I again experience debilitating knee pain. He listens and explains
I have been a patient of Dr Bhagia’s since 2012. He’s done a knee reconstruction, knee replacement, replaced both hips. Couldn’t ask for a more patient and caring doctor. I’ve referred many friends to him with confidence and they all agree with me!
