I am going to try not to cry whilst writing this. Dr. Umang is an amazing pediatrician and human being. From the second we met her we instantly felt safe and knew that we weren’t just going to be her clients, but we were on the same team for our children. The above and beyond she went to make sure my baby (at the time) stayed out of the hospital with RSV until absolutely necessary was amazing. Dr. Umang Sood is an incredible pediatrician! In addition to being extremely knowledgeable from the medical side, she empathizes with the parents and takes the time to talk us through difficult decisions as first time parents!
Dr. Sood is easily the best pediatrician that we could ask for. Our kid loves her, she’s incredibly thorough, she gives us the opportunity to talk through the contextual factors behind our kid being healthy or unwell, and most importantly, she empathizes with kids and families when bad things happen. We found out that our daughter has an eye disorder, and even though it’s a livable condition, we were very sad. She cried with us when we had to come to terms with the situation. I have been postponing this review for over a year, but if I was able to give this clinic 0 stars, I definitely would. I started seeing Dr. Umang Sood when I was 15 and she was good at first. Afterwards, she would occasionally make insensitive jokes that were inappropriate. Around this age, I started having a lot of health issues, especially chronic pain, and was having trouble finding a diagnosis.
