I have seen Dr Kemp several times over the last few years. He explained some problems with my foot and suggested a fusion. I know he is a good surgeon and do trust his judgement. I have had other surgeries that had to come first………and to be honest the recovery for the foot surgery is somewhat daunting. I keep putting it off because of that. Dr Kemp seemed to be in a rush when he saw me, he was short in his answers and his explanations. But what made me feel really bad is when he answered one of my questions sarcastically, in a way that I felt insulted. My question was an honest question. His rudeness was uncalled for. I felt that he didn’t want me as a patient. I am looking for another doctor.
From start to finish, I found all of Dr. Kemp's staff genuinely friendly, caring and professional. As for my medical treatment, Dr. Kemp's expert evaluation of the spiral fracture of my fibula allowed me to avoid surgery. With his careful monitoring, looks like I'll be back on both feet sooner than I could have imagined. Can't say enough good things about his practice. I'd give him a sixth star if I could.
There are other doctors in the valley who treat foot and ankle problems. But Dr. TRAVIS Kemp should be your first choice if you are having those kind of problems. He is an orthopedic surgeon. He and his staff gave me gold standard service. He was on time, thorough and not condescending in any way because of my age or sex. Very fast and professional, Dr kemp found the issue with my ankle and we are going to try some options to surgery.
I have the use of both feet today because of Dr. Kemp. I first visited Dr. Kemp in 2011 and was so impressed with him and his professional care and manners I continued going to him. He has saved each of my feet. The first time when I had gangrene in my foot and needed immediate treatment, he was concerned that I would lose my foot, and rightly so. Want to thank Dr Kemp and his staff for their excellent services! Dr Kemp gave my husband back a much improved quality of life! My husband crushed both of his ankles in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago. The arthritis in his ankles was so painful that he suffered every day while going about his daily routine. Over this last year Dr Kemp performed total ankle replacement on both of his ankles. He is now able to enjoy life again both at work and at play!! Thank you so much Dr Kemp!!
This was the worst experiences I have ever had with a medical facility. Everything was going great until I had a death in my family and had to reschedule a surgery. I made the comment that his assistant was difficult to understand sometimes and an assistant chose to write their own statement in my file. it is still unclear what she wrote but the Doctor asked that I find another physician based on the comments she wrote. I made several calls to resolve this matter but in the end i was referred elsewhere.
