I do not recommend Dr Shapiro at least for no surgical issues or if you know a lot about your condition. He based his diagnosis on a major symptom I don’t have and for which I didn’t tell him I had. He also didn’t seem to understand injury of the shoulder and elbow overuse injury that can happen from mousing / computer work. I ended up reviewing the report he wrote and it was very poorly written. He had several comments where he choose wording and context that came across as biased. My time with Shapiro was a waste. He based his diagnosis on a major symptom I don’t have. He also didn’t seem to understand RSI due to long term mousing and typing. I ended up reviewing the report he wrote and it was so poorly written. In the report there are also several comments where he chooses wording and context that came across as biased. Minus one thousand stars. The receptionist refuses to give me an apt for my shoulders even though i have an authorization from my insurance for both shoulders they want me to make an apt for one shoulder at a time, this means first x ray, then an MRI for each shoulder with differant appointments and visits so that they can milk the insurance company instead of doing both at the same time again my insurance approved the treatment for both shoulders.
