By far the best resource for mental health and medication management I have found in the area. Dr. Valco makes a point to be knowledgeable about all of my health conditions when addressing my care. Very easy to talk to and get in touch with.
The office is great to our individual's and is so efficient. We love going there, Dr. Valko is like family to us. Thank you for everything.
Dr. Valko is an exceptional psychiatrist. I've been seeing him for the last three months for debilitating anxiety and depression. He treated me with dignity and respect. He is very "matter of fact" and will work with you to find the correct combination of medications. I also saw a talk therapist and forced myself to do things I didn't feel like doing anymore, such as getting out of bed, showering, or leaving my home. Dr. Valko gave me my life back.
The care I have received from Dr. Valko has been phenomenal. His compassion, understanding, level of expertise, and knowledge of my conditions has made my treatment life-saving. He continues to monitor my medications and makes sure that I am continuing on the right path. I owe everything to this man and his practice, and am so grateful that we found Dr. Valko 17 years ago!
Had no problems with anyone or anything but the Doctor himself. He entirely lacks bedside manner. He cares little about the actual situation and all about which drug he should prescribe. He made my son cry then chuckled at him. Now my son is experiencing deep emotional pains and doesn't want to see another psychiatrist.
I was 20 minutes late for an appointment. I waited 30 minutes to be told we couldn't be seen. Then, they charged me FIFTY dollars for a "missed appointment". On top of it, they were really really rude. I won't return.
Dr. Valko is great to work with. I bring my at risk foster youth to see him. He holds clients accountable for their actions while trying to help them be the best person they can be. He is honest about what medications can do to help and he gives realistic expectations of what the client needs to do so the medications and therapy can be most beneficial.
