He was wonderful. He actually diagnosed my skin cancer that I had on my scalp and arm that I had been seeing another dermatologist for who is treating it as eczema.
During my visit the doctor refused to listen to what my radiation oncologist was recommending. This doctor simply tried to dictate my care down a course of action, regardless of what I and everyone else wanted. He refused to do surgeries on malignant tumors. I would never go back to him, nor would I recommend him to anyone.
My face is still numb after 2 mo. from the anesthesia -- they don't care. On the initial visit they administered lidocaine for a biopsy of a small blemish. Since then, his office has called me frequently for follow-up treatments but that person has ignored my concerns about the continued numbness, telling me it'll eventually go away. It still hasn't gone away. They only seem interested in booking more appointments. I should have noticed how his reception room had people packed in like cattle. Easy to get appointment, short wait, doctor has great bedside manner, ordered tests to correct my issue that no other dermatologist ever did, and got to the root of the problem. Great friendly staff, I will never go to another dermatologist as long as this guy has a practice!!
Even though I had to wait, it was well worth it. The staff made me feel like a valued patient. Dr. Ioannides was professional and friendly, a killer combo. I have a second appointment in two weeks for a sebaceous cyst extraction and am confident in his abilities. I will recommend this office.
Waited 45 minutes and told two ahead after 30 minute wait from appointment time but took in four afterwards. No respect for appointment time. We left to pick up our daughter. They really did not seem to care much.
Doctor Ioannides used propane torch for cauterizing nose n injuries are inoperable. Unable to ever eat solid food must drink all meals from blender. He and other doctors who are all in Ft. Pierce Florida completely ignored my medical needs and never gave me the medical attention that I needed and deserved.
Doc loannides told me that he guaranteed me that 4 of the 6 we're definitely cancer and after the biopsies came back, he was spot on. His office promptly scheduled the follow-up surgery.
He definitely likes to cut but does not suture well. My sutures came undone after only 3 days resulting in a large WIDE scar. Don't let him touch you...there are a number of excellent dermatologists in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend treasure coast dermatology. Do a little research and you will discover he was reprimanded and fined for claiming he did more liquid nitrogen burn removals than he actually did.
