Tom is an incredible Dr. I have been a patient for 10 years now and am very happy with all the care and treatment I have received. He is the first Dentist I have met that takes time to listen and give options😃 I have had my mini implants for 3 years and I love showing off my complete SMILE.
I can't even describe the dentist, he is by far one of the best dentists all around. He is gentle, kind, and incredibly informative. After being reffered by a friend for mini implants, and after the exam, he sat me down in this office and gave me a presentation about my options in the easiest way possible, he explain everything as thoroughly as possible, and answered all my questions.
Pulled a wizdom tooth out, got infected because his hurried stitches fell out. Told me to use teabags and ibuprofen. Couldn't eat for at least a week and a half, he got mad at me for going to the walk in clinic instead of calling his office on the weekend. Not pleasant and rough when working in my mouth.
Wow from me too! I don't know what a disgruntled employee's comments are doing on this site. My experience was just wonderful. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and so helpful. This is probably the best encounter that I have had with any doctor. No issues with payment, timing or anything else. Highly recommended, don't let the ex-employee "sour grapes" comments influence you.
I've known Dr Tom Pekar for a while . Besides his wonderful services , he provided a lot for this community . He is one of the most generous practitioners I've ever met . His participation to this community as well as communities of need beyond the border is remarkable. I would defenetely recommend him.
WOW, I can't believe these negative reviews. I have been a patient for almost 20 years and my family has seen Dr. Pekar as well. I bet this hygienist is the one from several years ago that I complained to Dr. Pekar she smelled of marijuana - she wasn't there the next time I went that's for certain. He's a great dentist and came in to treat my abcessed tooth at night when I was in terrible pain. He has great empathy and goes the extra mile to make sure you aren't in pain. His staff are great.
I cant stand needles, the rest does not bother me. Dr Pekar can clean up small areas with a laser and no needles needed. This part makes my day. No frozen mouth, no looking funny for half the day, and no needle. Just in and out painless and quick.
Dr. Pekar is fastidious and generous in his investigations of dental and oral health. I am 70 yrs of age and have had intensive dental and jaw work over much of my life. I found that Dr. Pekar surpasses any dentist I have ever been to, not only with his services, but with his knowledge, integrity and inventive laser solutions to oral / dental issues. I was all ready to spend almost $30,000 for regular implant supported dentures (upper only) when a friend told me about Dr. Tom Pekar and mini implants. My first visit was a free consultation where I learned everything I needed to know before I left the office, including prices and payment plans.
