After being seen by Dr. Johson, I was unable to pick up my prescription because he doesnt 'do' prior authorizations. A process which would take him all of 10 minutes. All of the negative reviews on here are true. Don't waste your time.
I have been a patient for many years. I appreciate the flexible scheduling of my appointments. As a busy executive I understand the importance of my annual exames.
Took my dad for basic checkup. They insisted on the phone that they only take cash / check (red flag 1 lol). Then we got charged $300 out of pocket since he doesn’t have insurance. Fine. Rip-off but whatever. I ate that cost But few weeks letter, I get a bill in the mail for $300. I don’t have the receipt anymore so basically it’s their word against mine. Shady place. Avoid. There so many 1 stars here for a reason
I got an infection, with a routine procedure, I missed work for a week, extreme pain and suffering, I've had this procedure before by another Dr and never experienced this discomfort. My symptoms unbearable pain when urinating, loss of appetite. The procedure was a cystoscopy. Needless to say I will never step foot in that office again.
Very unprofessional will scold you like a little child if you repeatedly call his office to follow up on your condition an what the next course of action will be refuses to listen to patient concerns I would not recommend going to this dr for urology problems literally told me I should not be in pain after surgery for kidney stones
Wonderful Dr. cares about his patients. Highly recommend!
He came to me in the hospital while I was suffering from a kidney stone that needed to come out. He explained the procedure in detail and my mother and me were much more relaxed and confident about his abilities. He told of the three possible outcomes so we would be prepared and it ended up being a success anyway. Hope I don't have any more blocked stones but I would go to him in a heartbeat.
Worst Doctor I have ever seen. All other review support his character. He doesn't care and doesn't even pretend to care. He will small talk with you and then rush you out of his office because he says he has too many patients. Will not describe problem, will not tell you what to do to heal it. He will just laugh it and tell you that he had seen a lot worse. He is not a serious Doctor. Don't trust him!!! He will not help you and only Over Charge your insurance and waste your time.
I had TURP surgery for a bladder blockage, and he never told me about a somewhat serious side effect: total loss of an ability to ejaculate. Also, I had serious constipation, which can cause a blockage of the bladder. He told me that my prostate wasn't very enlarged, considering my age (by palpable exam). But he said that the prostate was blocking the urethra, based upon a visual exam using a camera. However, I had a similar blockage two years prior, which resolved itself.
