I would highly recommend Dr. Ortenzio! You can tell he truly cares about his patients because he takes time in explaining everything to you. My surgery to correct plantar fasciitis and tarsal tunnel was a complete success. I feel better than I have for more than 2 years. Thanks Dr. Ortenzio, you're the best!

I would not recommend Dr. Thomas Ortenzio, I went to see him about pain in my Achilles tendon area. He diagnosed it as Achilles tendonitis and recommended that I need orthotics. I proceed with the orthotics that cost $400. The orthotics did not correct the problem they in fact made the problem worse than what I was previously experiencing. I got a second opinion and it turns out that I had a bone spur in the area of the Achilles which was causing the pain. He was just wants to sell you orthotics

I am sorry that Mr. Carson did not respond well to the treatment for his condition. I was well aware of the bone spur on his heel, and I assured him that the actual bone spur rarely warrants surgical intervention. He received his orthotics, and never returned for follow up. This review came about one year after I initially saw him. so I have no idea how he responded to the treatment. I believe that we needed a little more time to resolve his problem. I hope he is doing well now.
Agree w/ another reviewer here - going to OSS Podiatry is like docs used to be. Everyone here is friendly as well as knowledgeable. I got a third opinion here and I feel I finally got some answers for an ongoing problem. Dr. Ortenzio takes his time with you and has a great demeanor, explains everything plainly. This is my new foot doctor now. Thanks Dr. Otenzio : )
Everyone is so friendly at the office and they know who I am when I walk in. There is no waiting time. It reminded me of the way doctor offices used to be.
Dr. Ortenzio explained everything about me surgery and recovery perfectly. All went well and exactly as he said it would. Great job!
Both my wife and I are patients of Dr. Ortenzio and we are very satisfied with him. He is an excellent surgeon. He explains everything that is going on and takes his time so that you do not feel rushed and what I really liked was that when we talked he would really listen and only when we were done talking give us an answer. I have recommended him to my friends.
I had been to various doctors for the same condition that I consulted Dr. Ortenzio to treat. He was upfront and honest with what needed to be done. Problem resolved. He also demonstrated a very effective stretch that totally healed another condition in my foot. It was simple and easy to do and it worked! I would highly recommend Dr. Ortenzio.
