He is unwilling to write a medical justification to my insurance and therefore would have to pay $1,960 vs. a co-pay of $150. This was after ordering tests and office visits to come to the conclusion that the Rx would be helpful. I was told by a person in his office that they don't write Prior Authorizations anymore because of staffing and cost. Why then would I be sent for additional tests and an Rx be written. I sent a letter on June 12th asking for him to contact me, but no response yet. (It is now June 21st.) I understan... read more

I've been having abdominal/pelvic pain for 5 months after a total hysterectomy. I went to Dr. Cangiano to see if it might be coming from my urinary tract or kidneys. He and his staff were excellent! I saw his Nurse Practitioner first and have never received a more thorough work-up than what she gave me. I then saw Dr. Cangiano, who discussed all of the points I had made, outlined a treatment plan for me and recommended appropriate tests. I am so grateful to him for his compassion, caring, professionalism and competence.

Dr. Cangiano has been our urologist for about 16 years. While treating my husband for kidney stones he also found that he had cancer. With no hesitation he explained to us our options and within two months not on his part but ours as we looked for a second opinion. The second doctor asked us why we were there, we explained and he told us that Dr. Cangiano was teaching him the same procedure that would help my husband hands down. We are very grateful for Dr. Cangiano.

Dr. Cangiano is great. I went into the emergency room with a few kidney stones that were too large to pass and one that was blocking my ureter. He was the only doctor who listened to what was wrong and took me seriously! I can't express how deeply thankful I am for him. He is one of the rare doctors that genuinely cares about their patient's wellbeing.

My experience with Dr. Cangiano is awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have used him since my first bout with kidney stones about 12 years ago. Not happy I have to look for a new urologist but his staff is unacceptable. For the last few years it is almost impossible to soak to a live person. Leave a message and they might get back to you. Usually takes 2 or 3 more calls to set an appointment. This last time I get a "no way you can see Dr. Cangiano this week sweetie". There wasn't even an attempt to find out... read more
