I’ve been a patient of Doctor Goodmans for going on 30 years, and he has helped me to stay healthy and active during my time with him as my PCP. I have since moved over 100 miles away from his office and look forward to and have no problem driving to see him for my yearly visit. As long as he is practicing I would not want to be a patient to a different PCP.
My husband made an appt to see Dr. Goodman to get a prescription for some medication. After waiting over 3 weeks to see the doctor specifically, when he arrived at his appt, he actually ended up seeing a nurse practitioner who couldn't prescribe the medication and who offered to set up another appt (read: another visit means another co-pay). Apparently Dr. Goodman didn't want to see patients because of the virus. What a complete waste of time and money. Why not call patients and tell them that he isn't available? More import... read more
I saw Dr. Goodman for the first time today. He was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive. After having been poo-pooed & blown off by other doctors, I finally feel validated that my pain is real. I’ve been suffering with arthritis in my hands for years and he was in awe that I’ve dealt with it for so long. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone suffering from arthritis pain.
I've had mixed experiences with Dr. Goodman. First of all, I think I've seen him personally once. All of the other times were with his office staff, who pulled out Ipads, barely looked at me while I described my symptoms, and then ran a program that told them what I had (like MD Web). If that's what I came for, I could have done that myself and saved myself the cost of the office visit. Doctor's offices are too reliant on cheap, junior, unknowledgeable medical help.
Attentive, funny, and spends time getting to know about you. I believe that these things are important for long term health and welfare.
I have seen Dr. Goodman as my pcp for nearly 20 years. There is no better General Practioner to be found. Dr. Goodman is thorough, he pays attention, he listens & asks questions. Plus he is very friendly.
DR. GOODMAN IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND IS A KIND MAN. HE CALLED TO CHECK UP ON ME SEVERAL TIMES AND HAD ME COME IN ON A REGULAR BASIS AS HE WAS TREATING ME FOR A BAD CASE OF LYME. IT WAS EASY TO GET APPOINTMENTS, ALTHOUGH FOR NEW PATIENTS IT MAY TAKE A COUPLE OF MONTHS TO GET IN.
Dr. Goodman takes the time to talk and listen to you and I have been happy with him as a doctor. My problem is how the office is run, you will feel like a number. The appointments are scheduled so tightly that if you need to get in to see someone quickly, don't bother calling since they've consistently told me over the 2 years there the next appointment is 1 week away and if I require medical attention to go to a urgent care or minute clinic. I'm moving on.
Dr. Goodman is an exceptional Doctor. He takes the time to listen and assess his patients and makes himself available for consultations.
