Dr Phillips has been my dr. for almost 20 years. He is an excellent, caring, honorable doctor. He works hard to make his patients feel comfortable & improve their quality of life thru pain management. He and his staff are kind, friendly, efficient, caring & diligent. I moved here from IL three years ago & began seeing Dr. Phillips & the two nurse practitioners for chronic back & neck pain. He performed a thorough exam & ordered x-rays & an MRI to assess my current level of degeneration, identified bone spurs & presence of osteoarthritis. Dr. Phillips performed successful epidural injections at numerous sites decreasing pain & discomfort. He changed my highly potent pain med keeping me reasonably comfortable. All the staff are friendly & compassionate.
Dr. Phillips did a complete exam my first visit. He is a good listener & could tell something was not right. His office fitted me for a back brace that helped a lot. He was the first one to initiate the help personally needed! I felt really emotional. Since then I have had good follow up visits. Unfortunately they had to remove me as a patient bc new laws starting 11/1/18 they had to cut about half their patient load. I am apprehensive about seeing someone new.
Be aware that Dr. Phillips will order a $1300 addict-level drug screen administered by his less-than-friendly nurse, before even seeing you (no, they do not divulge the cost). Additionally, if your secondary insurance is with Tricare, Dr. Phillips' office will not file it or pass it on to the lab he uses for the drug test. You may receive your first $1300 lab bill 18 months later, long after insurance or FSAs will consider payment. Unacceptable.

I see Dr. Phillips for chronic back & neck pain post surgery & degenerative disc disease. Dr. Phillips worked to find effective meds to lessen the pain & performed numerous epidurals decreasing my pain. I recently had lumbar nerve ablation (nerves burned) which greatly reducing my pain. Dr. Phillips performed thorough exams, listened to my symptoms & concerns, explained medication & treatment options. He is my lifeline to independence & a productive life! His PA’s & support staff are great!
I was referred to Dr Phillips after my previous Dr retired. I have been on pain management for years due to chronic pain that stems from surgeries after a car accident. Without these meds I am not able to do a lot of the things that those without pain take for granted. I'm very thankful for Dr. Phillips and his PA's for their care.
This physician is rude, shows little if any compassion or empathy and I had to chase him into the hall to catch him for questions! His PA was the same, little eye contact or questions like "how are you, what has been going on and do you have any questions?" And it was the first time I met him. My plan of care was poorly explained and considering I have multiple in operable issues, my 8/10 pain was ignored and I've sat in pain for 2 weeks.
Dr Phillips has treated me for chronic pain in my shoulders . I think that he is a very smart physician and quite personable . He has a very nice staff. I recommend Dr. Phillips to anyone that is hurting
