Dr. Tara MaCannel saved my life. I was 28 when I was diagnosed with Choridal Melanoma in my left eye causing retinal detachment. I had met with so many doctors who had little to zero experience treating this rare cancer. Most patients treated for this are well into their 60s+ and have other eye diseases, not 28yr olds with 20/20 vision. She is awful. she appears more interested in self-promotion than in patient care. She never answers patients' messege in the potal, and also she is the only UCLA physician who continuously sends promotional messages even to a fomer pacient who refuses to get such a advertising. Such a terrible person!

Dr. Tara McCannel is an outstanding brilliant kind compassionate superior Doctor!!!! You will be under the BEST CARE!!! Tara is BY FAR one of the most thorough , intelligent prepared Dr I have been too! She knows her stuff!!! Also, her entire staff from making an appointment going through testing imaging. All were such kind, caring staff. I am thrilled and honored that I got to see Dr. McConnell. know that you will be in the best hands!!!
