Dr Sotomayor is so caring! She called after prescribing medication to ensure it helped my daughter, she kept track of my daughters surgery date and called to check on her, after we hadn't been there for a while she had her office call to check in. We've seen many doctors since my daughter has severe scoliosis being treated by a growing rod and none have offered her level of compassion and care. Her face is full of joy each time she sees my daughter. I wish all doctors cared so much!
I have been taking my twins to Dr. Sotomayor for 4 years and have rarely seen the outstanding care she displays in other doctors. She spends a lot of time in patient education and is truly dedicated to the patient and their families. I place all my trust in her. Thank you, Dr. Sotomayor.
Dr. Sotomayor double-booked us, so it took a while to see us. When she came, she was in a rush. She was unwilling to answer questions, didn't listen to our replies or concerns, and she literally had her hand on the door anxious to leave toward the end of the appointment. She didn't put us in an exam room, so she asked the other patient to step out of their room, took us into it, said Don't touch anything!, and when we left their room, she promised the other family that we didn't touch anything
