Horrible staff and wait times. Calls not returned about medication denials with insurance companies.

Starting with the office staff, they are condescending and unhelpful. I waited 45 minutes to be seen and then was taken to an exam room (that he also uses as an office based on the piles of paperwork everywhere) and he asked me the same question about meds 6 times. Yes, I counted. He answered several text messages while in my appointment and never really helped me, or answered my questions. When I asked for a pt referral I was told to “call ATI or Drayer and see if they have a neuro pt”. I declined a follow up appointment an... read more

Cannot answer how good he is because it is 5 weeks post EEG and still have no phone calls or indication of the results. Call every week and nothing.

If you want a doctor that knows his business then this doctor is for you. Excellent neurologist! Yes, his office is busy and yes, there is often a lengthy wait. It is often hard to get through on the phone, but just keep at it. The doctor himself, Dr Shaukat, knows what he is doing. At first, he seems abrupt, But I just think this is due to his busyness and his nature. Yes, he was looking at the computer often while I was talking. But when finished, he did a thorough exam, based on what I had said and the information he foun... read more

Used to love going…missed one appointment by accident and he denied my return. I was his patient for 10 years. Threw me away like a piece of garbage.

Dr Shaukat is very compassionate, he listens to his patients and is easy to talk to. I have been seeing him for several years now for migraines. I was very lucky to have found him. It may take a while to get an appointment, but he is worth the wait. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him.

After waiting 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room the Dr saw us for 5 minutes! Didn't answer any of my questions and didn't listen to my concerns. It is difficult enough taking my 89 year old mother in law with dementia to the appointment and trying to explain to her why she is waiting which she of course has no idea what I am saying as to why she needs to wait. I will not be taking her back here and I will not recommend him to anyone

I've seen Dr. Shaukat multiple times. He did refer me to the right specialist when very few people didn't know what condition I had. However, wait times are terrible, appointments are very rushed, and a poor bedside manner is presented.
