I visited Dr. P. because I was having trouble dealing with an attack that left numerous dead while serving in the military. She was nearly one hour late calling me in; berated staff in front of me; had back turned ignoring me for my first ten minutes in the room, without interaction; made diagnosis with three to five minutes of questions (three); said I didn't have PTSD before ever asking a question; added false notes to my file. Professional VA doctor diagnosed me as having PTSD-someone cares

Takes more than three days to refill a medication. I called on a Monday and is a Wednesday and still haven't heard a word.

Her secretaries did not communicate to her that I was calling for refills and then the office suddenly closed for five days and that left me without psychiatric medication. She has no after-hours contact information. I had to go to Urgent Care to get an emergency supply of medication. I have been in the office many times and the staff is rude to me and other patients and talks down to us.

Please read the reviews and don't look back. I decided to give this woman the benefit of the doubt and boy was I mistaken. She's not very good at connecting with her patients and she tried to make me believe that my diagnosis that my psychologist gave me (mind you I've been with her for a long time) was wrong. So please don't waste your time or money.

When i started seeing Dr. Prasanna I was not on any medication, by the time I realized that I must get out from under her after 8 medications I know needed help coming off of all these drugs. Her best attribute was writing perscriptions especially if you told her what you wanted. Run and don't look back she will ruin your life.

I started seeing Dr. Prasanna when my prev psych retired and I had nowhere to get my meds. She was 1 of only about 3 in the area that took my ins. The 1st thing that she did was changed all my meds that were working to something else, one of which was prescribed off-label for sleep b/c we'd tried everything else. When I explained this to her she said there was no way my prior doc would have done that. I asked if she was calling me a liar and she said yes & every appt after that was refills only.

I wish to god there was a way to rate this woman as a negative number that is all shes worth. Stay far far away she will cause your life to become nothing but complete craziness, she will try and convince you that there is some under lying problem and pull out her trusty little piece of paper and make that pill list because we all know she is first and formost a pill pusher, she purposely makes sure that you now become dependent on the drugs and her, stay away she will ruin your life.

She is caring and compassionate. I am grateful to her for her guidance in helping me to reach a healthier me. She gives medical and psychological backup for all of her counseling. I would recommend her to anyone.
