I would leave negative stars if I could. I had an appointment with her over 2.5 weeks ago and was told I needed 2 scripts and that she was going to call them in. She never did. I have called the office 3 times trying to get the medication and no one knows what it is because nothing was wrote in my file. After that I decided to try to switch doctor's within the practice. Still waiting on her to sign off on it. (Been over a week and a half) I do not recommend her if you would like any results.
Dr. Malik has been my psychiatrist for over a year now. She is horrible with keeping appointments on time. For the past year & a half she shows up to my appointments 3-5 hours late. She never takes accountability for her tardiness. Her office is unhelpful as far as knowing if she’s going to attend an appointment or not. They never let me know if she’ll be late or if she’s unable to make an appointment. He's kind of a dique. He's not a talky type of psychiatrist. He's more of a "What's your problem? Here's some meds." type and every follow up is like "you good?" and then he'll just copy/paste your medications. In and out under 10 minutes.
Commenting once more, as must have slipped through the cracks last time. As stated in other reviews: Does not call pharmacy back -- allows patients to run out of medications that can cause seizures when stopped suddenly. He requires frequent 5 minute appointments to refill prescriptions that should be for six months and did not ever take an original history, resulting in inaccurate, very generalized diagnosis that does not reflect specifics. It's been over a year since I've seen Dr. Malik. I saw her one time through the services of Center Point Hospital. She wasn't helpful at all! It was my understanding that all my bills would come from Center Point Hospital. I don't see why I continually get bills from Dr. Malik... A year later! I'm not paying them until they can show me why I still owe them. Beware of Psych Care Consultants, the business that she is affiliated with. They are a SCAM! And Dr. Malik is of no help at all.
Dr Reddy is a no show for virtual office visits x 3. Dr Reddy only will schedule virtual visit appointments on Saturday. He has failed to call each time. The office is closed on Sat. They will not give an alternate number for when he does not call. Each time the office has confirmed the appointment date, time and phone # prior to the appt. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional behavior for a licensed provider.
My visit(s) never happened. I was scheduled for one, which was cancelled the day of and re-scheduled for a Sunday in which the date was not clear. When The person called to re-schedule the cancelled appointment, which was cancelled the day of said appointment, I was told Dr. Malik was scheduling her appointments for Sunday. When Sunday rolled around, I waited for a call that never came. When I called to verify the date, I was told it was the following Sunday. I'd like Dr. REDDY to offer virtual visits. I have respiratory issues and would prefer not coming in to public settings.
I saw her as a teen and she was good. Quit going to her and then 20yrs later; let's just say her practice does not have anybody's care in mind but her own. She has scheduled appts, that she doesn't even show up to the office for until 3hrs later, chows down on food while seeing her patients (when she sees them), and is altogether obsolete when talking and listening...which is her job!
