This doctor is a rude, arrogant person that should not be treating children or interacting with families. She doesn't listen to parents and is very rude. She spoils the whole office for me and I am taking my children elsewhere. Get rid of her Associated Peds or she will put you out of business.

I have never in my life met a doctor so rude. Actually Ive never encountered a person in general who has ever been as rude to me as Dr Bishop. She is condescending, cold, arrogant, and down right mean. Forget asking a question, she'll not only make you feel incredibly stupid, she'll make you feel like a bad parent. As a first time mom I may have some silly questions, doctors are there to care for my child and reassure me as a parent. She doesn't do this. Not even close. After seeing her twice (I only went the second time bec... read more

my son was 2 days old Dr. Bishop asked me where is he sleeping at night. I informed her that things around our home have been hectic so he slept in different places like his swing or bassinet etc. she proceeded to tell me he really needs to be in his crib (in an youre an idiot type of way). I had to call in after my 4 wk old had to have stomach surgery for. When we got home. I fed my son and he puked right away. I was nervous that maybe I did something wrong or I hurt his stomach so I called the on call doctor. Dr. Bishop wh... read more

She has the worst bedside mannor of any Dr. Iv'e seen. The rest of the Drs. in the group are great, I cringe if she is the only available Dr. when my kids get sick.

I took my children to assoc. ped's some 20yrs ago when Dr.Bishop was just out of school, then I thought she was arrogant. twenty years later, I often take my grandchildren to the doctors office for my children. Today I took my 4month old grandson to see the doctor for a chronic illness, she offered no explaination as to why he was so ill, nor a referal for another pediatrican when asked. She become defensive and rude when I pushed for answers and stormed out of the room! in my opinion, if your specialty is pediatrics, then y... read more

I took my daughter to see Dr. Bishop for what I thought was a sinus infection. I had never been treated so rudely by a doctor before in all my life. She acted as if she did not want to touch my daughter and barely examined her. She seemed to be more interested in gossiping with the staff than taking care of our needs. Her whole tone when speaking to me was very condescending and rude. The receptionists and office manager are all very unprofessional as well.

Dr. Bishop is condecending and rude. We took my newborn son to her for his 2 week check-up and she harped on the fact that we weren't "doing anything" about his cradle cap. She also made disparaging comments about him being exclusively breastfed and tried to use scare tactics about co-sleeping. She would not listen to me when I told her things regarding my son and treated me like a stupid, ignorant mother. My husband took him to see her a second time (not on purpose, you see whoever you get at that office) when my son had a ... read more

I went to Dr. Bishop as a kid and blame her for my fear of doctors. She was never friendly or even warm. She frequently accused me of faking illnesses as I got older making me even more wary of going to the doctor's office. She was generally rude to me and I'd never take my own child there. Don't doctors take classes on bedside (or office) manner? I don't know why she'd choose to be a pediatrician if she hated kids and parents so much.

Sounds like Dr. Bishop has NOT changed...I took my daughter to her about 8 yrs ago regarding croup. I worked at the time as a medical technologist, so I wasn't exactly a healthcare moron. Bishop insisted on prescribing the same useless med each time; each time we ended up in ER at 2:00 a.m. b/c my infact daughter could hardly breathe. When I asked Bishop about allowing me to keep some prednisone on hand at home to use only when my daughter became croupy, she spoke to me like I was the worst abusive parent in the world for ev... read more
