I will state that this provider is much more money oriented and holds a stronger since of entitlement than she deserves. If you want to be paid as a specialist then specialize in something but do not present yourself as a gp only to turn your nose up to the patients. I have listened to her on phone calls angry about money and shouting about professional courtesy while I've waited for her. Courtesy on any level goes both ways and having an MD behind your name is no automatic for the respect she acts like is deserved. I have c... read more
I have gone to Dr. King for 7 years, and I have never seen her act as some of the comments suggest! She has always been profressional, yet, human! She has always spent a lot of time with me, and has been very thorough! She listens to what I say, and is genuinely interested in me! In fact, my whole family goes to her -- 2 of my sons, my husband, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, and my cousin. We all love her, and, even though her old office was closer to us, we have followed her to Cedar Park! I agree with what the nurse h... read more
Please listen to the reviews warning you about this "Doctor"! She must have extreme highs & lows to have so many extreme good & bad reviews. My father was misdiagnosed and ended up in intensive care for a week. Found him @ home, he was incoherent and not able to walk on his own. Took him to her office. She said he had a urinary tract infection, gave him an antibiotic! I ask her if he needed a specialist and she walked out of exam room. Left instructions for myself and his son not to come back to her office. Took him from her... read more
I only started seeing her bc her dad a very good Dr. Retired and she basically took over. When I started seeing her I thought she looked like a witch but didn't care much about that. Then about a year ago I started having constant pain in my stomach and constant diarrhea w/ blood and my depression medication wasn't working as well as it did when i started taking it 4 years ago given by a psychiatrist that moved away. I went to her when I came back from college for thanksgiving break and she gave me an antibiotic for the stom... read more
I had good luck with her. I've seen her maybe a dozen times over several years. She has listened to me patiently and objectively, and has always been nice. I've liked her manner--it wasn't syrupy, but it was competent, and direct. I've never waited unreasonably in her waiting room. She has always been conscientious about her work, and about her bill. She has even called me at work to give me test results knowing I was concerned. My only criticism would be that her knowledge is general, not specialized, and at times I asked q... read more
Terrible Doctor. Terrible bedside manner. She is cold and does not spend any time with her patients. I am switching to a new doctor as soon as I find a good one. Overchanrged me for a mistake made by her staff. Prescribed cipro and not notified of the black box warning for this antibiotic.
On the first visit, when she was training a new doctor, she was incredibly sweet and informative. I felt comfortable going back to see her. When I returned for a follow-up pap, I waited over an hour in the lobby and then another half-hour in the room. I know they've moved offices since, but the rooms themselves were cluttered and carpeted and seemingly unsanitary. Posters of drug companies littered the walls. When she came in, she was cold and distant. I guess because she was late, she didn't take any time to talk to me abou... read more
Wow! This "Doctor" is a JOKE. I have no idea how she got her license. I have chronic sciatica, moderate scoliosis, arthritis, facet degeneration, and L5 is partially sacralized. I am a young patient. I feel as if this idiot doctor dicriminated me due to my age. I am not a drug addict and can careless about medicine. When I am in extreme pain and my blood pressure is elevated due to the pain I am in... I DO EXPECT HELP. I WILL CALL THE MEDICAL BOARD. I could hear Susan King chit chatting it up with a patient in the next room ... read more
Find another doctor- unless you like waiting while the drug company reps go in an out. You will wait forever in the exam room too. I saw this doctor for many years and will not go back. There is too much to say but basically she doesn't seem to care about her patients like she used to. Also- don't go if you find a professional with 1000 pictures of her kids around the whole office creepy. Did I mention that her children are running up and down the hall distracting her the whole time? She injured me during my gynecological ex... read more
