Very unprofessional. I would give zero stars if i could. He sat and berated and belittled me for 45 minutes while i was CRYING because i didn't understand a very vague explanation he gave. Please do not seek his care if you are in a vulnerable state, or have trauma surrounding gaslighting. He will trigger you. It almost seemed as if he was TRYING to trigger an episode in me. It didn't work, which only seemed to aggravate him more.
I must be honest, he is really helping me. The other reviews are scary. But I really feel that he listens and understands where I’m coming from. He has been nothing but kind to me.
Do not go to him . He will not help you. He wants everyone on the streets

This guy is not friendly and attacked me at my last appt, that will be my very last appointment. He comes with a notorious reputation, caveat emptor
I believe he has a lifetime of listening to depression and mental illnesses etc. and needs to think about retiring. He is only interested in his wardrobe, his family and his Temple. He no longer cares about the patients under his care. He was a caring psychiatrist about fifteen years ago. But time, age and a lifetime of listening to mental illnesses has caused him to shut down. Now money has taken over his goal in life and patients come last in his list of priorities. I will be looking for a new
Dr. Lakhani is a wonderful, patient doctor who listens to my needs, takes my concerns seriously, and has provided me with my medications as needed and recommended to me a wonderful Therapist as well. I am extremely happy to have them both as my mental health team! Highly recommended.
My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's by a neurologist who could not give medication for her depression. We started seeing Dr. Lakhani and found him to be very helpful, especially in letting us know what to expect next as the disease progressed.
2nd visit with Dr. Lakhani and he was very rude. He didn't like that I had to stop a medication that was causing me horrible side affects and he got really mad and accused me of treating myself. He got really short with me, pretty much wrote a prescription and threw me out. Said "come back in two months". I will be finding another doctor.
