Dr. Uretsky and his staff are AMAZING. They are all so kind and so helpful. Dr. Uretsky sat with me and literally drew pictures of what he would be doing until I completely understood. My last follow up appt was during a time that I changed jobs, causing me to have to reschedule twice. The staff was so understanding and kind. I recommend this place 101%
Dr. Uretsky explained the serious health risks (heart disease, cancer, etc) associated with out of control gum disease. He genuinely cares and also performed a deep cleaning and gum repair that immediately turned around a bad situation. Very pleased with his skill, but his caring really sets him apart.
RecommendedOn 7/30/15 (a Thursday) I went to my Periodontist/Dentist, Steven Uretsky, d.m.d., suite 201, 1900 Murray Ave. Squirrel Hill, 15217, for my regular 3 month teeth and gum cleaning. I have been his patient since 2008 and never had a problem. The evening before the appointment and the morning of, my teeth, gums and mouth felt normal. Upon arrival at Dr. Uretsky's office, he applied a topical anesthetic to my teeth and gums (which he had never done before). Dental surgery performed 4 yrs ago, results are good. Dr Uretsky provides excellent control of patient's anxiety and pain. I liked being treated by him and would have used his services again if needed.
Dr Uretsky is truely talented. The procedure was painfree. He was patient with giving me breaks to rest my jaw. They were terrific with planning, scheduling, and informing me of costs. I knew exactly what my insurance would cover and my costs. I was very happy with the results.
