Dr. Kushner's staff and all of the team at Lakes Surgery Center are excellent. He is a caring and wonderful surgeon. I would not hesitate to highly recommend him.
Not only is Dr. Kushner very knowledgeable in his field, but he also did an excellent job on my surgery. I was in a lot of pain before I was referred to the office. Dr. Kushner had exhausted all options to help ease my pain each time I came in for my visits. I was then ensured that surgery was my final option but will relieve my pain long term with minimal complications. I am so grateful that my husband's hand accident happened on a Sunday evening and that the Urgent Care Doc mentioned that there is a hand surgeon in the building. Dr. Kushner spent so much time with me, explaining my carpal tunnel diagnosis and treatment options. He answered all my questions and did not rush me into surgery. He really knows his stuff! When we did finally decide on surgery, I had minimal pain. My results were excellent! I have no symptoms whatsoever. I wish all of my doctors spent as much time and care as Dr. Kushner. He is truly a talented, knowledgeable surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Kushner.
He had two patient doors open. He was frantic running back and forth He spent one minute with me and just left the room yelling at his staff . I wouldn't trust him for surgery even the simplest kind, Very frazzled!
Dr. Kushner is the best! He's knowledgeable, thorough, skilled and committed to helping! He didn't rush through appointments, explained everything well, and got to the bottom of a long-term problem. I've seen several doctors over the last few years without resolution. The surgery I had with Dr. Kushner was a complete success. I have zero pain and full use of my hand. His occupational therapist is excellent too. I could not recommend Dr. Kushner more. A rare and excellent doctor!
I came to Dr. Kushner to help with my Dupuytren's contracture. He spent more time talking about his own life than my condition. I had three rounds of injections in my hand and it has not helped. Also, when my health insurance changed, the billing staff was notified, but my new insurance company was never billed. When my wife called to straighten it out, the staff was defensive and rude to her. I will be finding another doctor.
I have had many appt with Dr kushner. Never seems to remember what kind of surgery I’ve had done. Never explains anything that I understand I still don’t know what he did to me. I’ve have had 3 horrible experiences with his front desk staff. I am 5 weeks post op and after yesterday’s appt. I will not be returning. I will find me a new dr.
