Dr. Cohen is highly regarded, but his practice is poorly managed. You can never speak to anyone in the office. You leave messages, and they do not call back. Their policy is to wait for ten days after an exam before they even call you back to schedule a procedure. I understand that the Covid pandemic has created delays, but there is no excuse for such poor customer service.
Great person and surgeon. I wish he would call me if possible. Miss him so much. Is he still in Tucson??
Many of us are having trouble getting our medical records from Dr. Steve Cohen’s office since his practice closed - any suggestions?
Dr. Steven Cohen did surgery on my scared retina, after RK surgery about 25 yrs ago. He is amazing and I really wish I could see him again. I was unable to go for my yearly exam due to him not being available anymore. I would really love to see him one more time and hope he is ok. Please contact me if you can.

Dr Cohen is a great Doctor and a Fantastic Eye Surgeon. I was having problems seeing and now I can see great. It took quite a while to get an appointment to see him, and now I can understand. Everyone in Arizona wants to see Dr. Cohen, he is super friendly, kind, and most importantly incredibly talented. I've had blurry and double vision just getting worse every year. I have been seeing Dr Cohen for about 5 years. Recently I had surgery for cataracts, laser astigmatism correction, and lens replacement. It was extremely easy because I have great trust in Dr Cohen and his staff. Everything was explained clearly and I felt free to ask follow up questions. The procedures were quick, painless, and the results have been amazing. My vision is now 20/20 without glasses. I highly recommend Dr Cohen for all of your eye care, but especially for surgical procedures.
