My followup visit was very through. I was unable to visit the office because I'm unable to drive yet but we followed up via phone and video conference. Dr. Xydas was on time and was very informative about my follow up.
Amazing is the one word I can use to describe Dr. Xydas and his team at Mount Sinai on Miami Beach. I went in seeking an alternative robotic procedure to learn that my particular surgery would require more. If Dr. Xydas had actually done some of the pre-op screening and test maybe that procedure could have been used but we elected to do the open heart. Dr Xydas made me feel at ease. I was diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm and he explained everything and took his time with me. Great bedside manners and incredibly knowledgeable. Im extremely comfortable moving forward with his suggested plan of action.
Dr. Xydas was very patient and answered all of my questions. If I forgot anything or had any concerns, Dr. Xydas or a member of his staff would promptly get back to me. I felt very comfortable using him as my surgeon.
Dr. Xydas was professional, patient and eager to listen intently to my concerns. He did not rush me and was interested in what I shared. I highly recommend him.
Had open heart surgery Dec 3 to repair an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm and Aortic Root Aneurysm. Dr. Xydas may me feel comfortable and relax as he explained my procedure. He was very professional, and his staff was very caring on me daily during my hospital.
From my very first visit, I was impressed by the professionalism, knowledge and experience of Dr Xydas as well as the responsiveness of his staff at all times. The successful outcome of my complicated procedure attests to his outstanding skill as well as that of his team. We are extremely fortunate to have such dedicated talent and state of the art hospital facility in southern Florida.
Every visit has exceeded my expectations. This is a very well run and compassionate team. Dr Diemunsch would not let me leave the follow up visit until she had taken care of an sebasious cyst that had become infected on my back. Thanks and what a miracle you and your team have given me. Bravo!
