Dr Herr saw me on very short notice. I called at 9 the morning and was able to get an appointment for 10:00am. He was very knowledgeable, great sense of humor, took the time to explain everything to me. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Unlike others who immediately recommend a battery of tests, Dr Herr was honest and made sure I left with peace of mind. Will definitely recommend him!
My daughter has been seeing Dr. Herr for her colitis and I've been for diverticulitis. He is knowledgeable, articulate and takes the time to explain your situation. I highly recommend Dr. Herr.
Dr Herr is great! He was able to get an endoscopy approved by my insurance. I had one done 8 years ago, and was told to have one every year because of some pre pre-cancerous cells they found. In those 8 years I had seen many different doctors, none of which were able to convince my insurance carrier to cover it. Dr. Herr did the procedure and called me on a Saturday to give me the results. He was concerned I would be worried and he didn't want me to wait till Monday to hear from him. Super Dr!
Do not use Valley Gastroenterology and / or Dr. Herr. No followup on promised referral for treatment protocol for life-threatening, chronic illness. After waiting two months for the referral, Dr. Herr's staff gave me the run around when asked about the status of the referral. Dr. Herr and his staff is incompetent and arrogant giving me many false excuses for the lack of followup. My insurance paid in full for the office visit but they continue to bill me the full amount. Grade: F
