Awesome, awesome awesome. Eight years ago he did an emergency partial colectomy on me. Several years later saved my wife by coming in at 4 PM on a Friday after she spent nearly a week at FMH under the care of a nearly incompetent GI doc and got her into surgery that evening although everything in the Frederick Memorial surgical suite was already closed for the day. He finished at nearly 9 PM, yet still yook the time to find me and explain everything. He has a great personality too.
Dr. McKenna performed life saving surgery on my mom's abdomen one year ago. Next week we are celebrating her life and her wonderful health. I can only hope if I ever end up in the ER that Dr. McKenna will be present. He is a genuine life saver performing miracles here in Maryland.
