I have been a patient of Dr Hook for a few years now and at first I thought she was great,but after having to be operated on the same "cyst" on my heel 3x in 2 yrs without success i've lost all confidence in her. Every time she operated,the infection came back worse than before and without taking cultures, antibiotics are the answer. Well this last surgery it for me,talk about a horror story. Terrible experience with Dr Hook. Her specialty is delaying treatment, deferring appointments, and requiring expensive unnecessary testing. SO GLAD I GOT A SECOND OPINION!! Don’t waste your time (probably like 6 months of your time and thousands of dollars to not even get effective treatment). After waiting 3 months to even get an appointment I then I got a completely unnecessary MRI, and unnecessary injection that only made my scenario worse and then she refused to see me for 4 weeks after even though I called multiple time... read more
