Doctor Russo is kind, and wonderful with the kids!

Extremely rude office staff. While I was a bit unprepared for my son's first visit, staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I did not get to see Dr. Russo, whom I've heard is an excellent physician. No complaint with her. She may want to know how unprofessional her office staff are, however

This is by far the worst medical clinic I have been to. The staff is not helpful, rude and very unprofessional. My kid hasn't even seen Dr. Russo yet and I'm already driven away from this office bc of its incompetent staff members. And in order for us to get a new pediatrician we need medical records in which the staff has destroyed without my permission. Not to mention they fired us as a patient when we haven't even seen or met Dr. russo. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this clinic.

Dr. Russo was always wonderful and took her time to answer questions and educate us. Her staff were rude on multiple occasions and her PA is very poor. She misdiagnosed significant things like ear infections and strep throat without even doing strep tests and didn't treat them. She basically said to wait. Also told for persistent cough honey during a bout of what another doctor called bronchitis with potential pnuemonia. We know this after seeking more help (urgent care) multiple times and finding she didn't diagnose them ac... read more

No one can touch this physician's knowledge and skill in our area. You pay for his expertise and time, but get the compassion for free. Office staff is awesome, know the kids by name and are very responsive when phone inquiries come to them.

She is a great doctor but her office staff is terrible. We disagreed with the billing department and got discharged!

I don't understand the bad comments. She always has been very open to our thoughts, suggestions, and ideas. If she doesn't agree, she says so, but I've never seen her get mad or talk down to us. She gives us choices and lets us decide. She's very friendly, loves children, and talks to them like they're human beings. She supported our breast feeding, and responded positively to all kinds of attachment ideas, as long as the child is safe. I would recommend her enthusiastically.

I have had a terrible experience with Dr. Russo. My husband and I practice attachment parenting, and Dr. Russo obviously does not agree with those philosophies. She was quite rude to us, and talked down to us. She seemed rather unsupportive of breastfeeding, and was horrified that my 9 month old still nurses during the night. She does not support those who wish to have their children follow a vegetarian diet. Also, she forces her patients to follow the standard vaccination schedule. The office staff has been nothing but rude... read more

Dr. Barber, like all doctors in the U.S., must schedule more patients per hour than he can possibly see. Because of the rise of managed care, doctors are given quotas of 4 or 5 patients--sometimes more--per hour. Hence, he is sometimes late and sometimes may seem brusque. However, he genuinely cares about his patients, and for the past six years has consistently had an encouraging word for my son. If other patients' parents have had trouble with his staff, I would suggest they tell the doctor about the issue rather than reso... read more
