I'm very surprised at the poor ratings to date for the doctor. I've been seeing her for five or six years and other than my insurance company not covering her anymore, I'm a satisfied patient. She has gotten my middle age issues (BP, cholesterol) under control. I've had a few other things that she had no problems addressing. The staff is a bit lacking but she does share that with another doctor so it is not totally her fault. She does often have a student doctor in training with her. I don't have any issue with the Doctor. Her staff is the worst. Attitude, rude, not returning phone calls, etc. That's ok, I'll take my business elsewhere. I just wish I would have read the reviews before joining her list of unhappy patients!
Whoever rated this provider as "5" must be related to her. Her lack of concern, her indifference and her inability to relate to her patients is tantamount to mistreatment, or no treatment at all. Not only does she need sensitivity training, it appears she needs medical training, and pharmacy awareness. She barely seems to be in the exam room with you. Her staff is cold and seems to follow her example. Find another doctor.
I've been seeing her for a short time maybe 8 months. My Md retired after being with him for 20 years. This doctor doesn't need to be in medicine. She doesn't greet you with a smile isn't warm misdiagnosed my problem not once but twice. Then I went to my urologist and was treat immediately with the correct Meds. I'm leaving her I saw her about two weeks ago, and did my research online and found a much better rated docs one floor down from her. I can't wait. I went in for a problem with my eye. Dr. Casalman didn't even look at my eye. I mean not even a glance without any scope. She just couldn't care less. Meanwhile, I get charged $100 to be referred to someone else. I don't mind the referral, but at least pretend to look at the problem. It is at best insurance fraud and at worst negligence. Horrible, horrible doctor.
